Short answer
A Hyperliquid Telegram bot lets you trade Hyperliquid perps from Telegram: copy the trades of top Hyperliquid traders, or open your own long or short trades on crypto, stocks, gold, indices and meme coins. CopyHype is a Telegram Mini App and bot, @copyhypefamilybot, that does both, from $5 a trade, with a free 24-hour practice trial of $1,000 of practice money and real money in a wallet only you can withdraw from.
Hyperliquid is the onchain perps exchange where every trade is public. Trading it from its website means a browser wallet, a bridge and an order screen built for traders. A Telegram bot puts the same markets inside a chat. This page explains what a Hyperliquid Telegram bot does, how the money side works, and how to set one up in a few minutes.
Part of our Hyperliquid guide and Telegram trading bots guide.
What does a Hyperliquid Telegram bot do?
It places Hyperliquid trades for you from Telegram: either by copying another trader's trades, or by sending your own orders. The trades themselves happen on Hyperliquid, under your own address.
Three kinds of Hyperliquid bots exist on Telegram:
| Kind | What it does | Who decides |
|---|---|---|
| Trading bot | Places your long or short orders | You |
| Copy trading bot | Repeats a chosen trader's trades in your account | The trader you copy |
| Alert bot (whale tracker) | Sends messages when big wallets trade | You, by hand, if at all |
CopyHype combines the first two: copy a whale, or trade solo, in the same app.
What can I trade on Hyperliquid from Telegram?
Perps on crypto like BTC, ETH and SOL, meme coins like PEPE and WIF, and through Hyperliquid's HIP-3 markets, stocks, gold and indices. Perps let you bet a price goes up (long) or down (short), with a multiplier.
| Market | Examples | Hyperliquid fee per side |
|---|---|---|
| Main crypto perps | BTC, ETH, SOL, HYPE | 0.045% |
| Meme coin perps | kPEPE, kBONK, WIF, POPCAT, FARTCOIN | 0.045% |
| Stocks, gold, indices (HIP-3) | Stock perps, gold, index perps | 0.09% |

Hyperliquid's prediction markets (HIP-4 outcomes) are live in CopyHype too: Yes or No bets from $10.
How does copying a Hyperliquid whale from Telegram work?
You pick a whale, set an amount, and tap Copy. Their next trades happen in your account, same coin, same direction, same multiplier. They exit, you exit.
CopyHype lists its whales straight from Hyperliquid's leaderboard:
- the top 8 by profit over 24 hours,
- the top 8 by profit over 7 days,
- the top 8 by profit over 30 days,
- only traders who traded in the last 24 hours, leaving out accounts that churn huge volume and traders too fast to copy.
Example: a whale opens a long on ETH at x5. Your amount is $10, so your position is $50. ETH rises 3% and the whale closes. Your copy closes too: +$1.50 gross, minus about $0.15 in fees (CopyHype 0.1% each way, Hyperliquid 0.045% each way), about +$1.35.
How does trading solo work?
Pick a market, pick up or down, set your amount and multiplier, and tap. From $5 a trade.
Example: you think gold rises this week. $10 at x3 on gold is a $30 position. Gold rises 2%: +$0.60 gross. Fees: CopyHype $0.06, Hyperliquid about $0.05 (0.09% each way on gold). Net about +$0.49.
The same trade if gold falls 2%: about -$0.71 after fees. With isolated margin, the most it can lose is the $10.
Who holds the money in a Hyperliquid Telegram bot?
It depends on the bot. On CopyHype, you do: real money sits in your own non-custodial wallet, and only you can withdraw. CopyHype gets a trading key that can open and close trades, and cannot withdraw.
This uses Hyperliquid's API wallet system: your wallet authorizes a separate key to trade for you, without the power to move funds out. Many Telegram bots instead keep your full private key on their servers. Ask before you deposit. Details: Hyperliquid API wallets explained.
What does a Hyperliquid Telegram bot cost?
The bot's fee plus Hyperliquid's. On CopyHype: 0.1% of the position when a trade opens and 0.1% when it closes, plus Hyperliquid's 0.045% on main markets or 0.09% on stocks, gold and indices. No subscription, no share of profits.
| $10 trade | Position | Round trip, main markets | Round trip, stocks or gold |
|---|---|---|---|
| x2 | $20 | about $0.06 | about $0.08 |
| x5 | $50 | about $0.15 | about $0.19 |
| x10 | $100 | about $0.29 | about $0.38 |
Funding is paid or received hourly on open perps. Withdrawing USDC starts at $2 and costs a $1 network fee. More: Hyperliquid fees explained.
How do I set up a Hyperliquid Telegram bot?
Open the bot, practice with practice money, then switch to real money when ready. No browser wallet, no bridge screen.
- Open @copyhypefamilybot. Tap Start, then Open the app.
- Practice for free. You get $1,000 of practice money on live Hyperliquid prices, a 24-hour trial. Each friend you invite adds 24 hours once their first trade opens.
- Copy a whale or trade solo. From $5 a trade.
- Switch to Real. Your own wallet is created, signed in with Telegram. Two signatures: one approves a trading key that cannot withdraw, one approves CopyHype's fee.
- Add money. By card, Apple Pay or Google Pay from $20 in the US and the EU, USDT or USDC on BNB Chain, Base, Polygon or Arbitrum, or USDC sent on Arbitrum One. Then tap Move it in.
How is a Telegram bot different from the Hyperliquid website?
Same markets and same order book; different doors. The Hyperliquid website is a full trading screen for people who already use crypto wallets. A Telegram bot hides the wallet setup and bridging, and adds copy trading.
| Item | Hyperliquid website | CopyHype in Telegram |
|---|---|---|
| Wallet | Bring your own browser wallet | Created for you, signed in with Telegram |
| Getting USDC in | Bridge from Arbitrum yourself | Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay in the app (US, EU), USDT or USDC on BNB Chain, Base, Polygon or Arbitrum, or USDC on Arbitrum One, then one tap |
| Copy trading | Not built in (vaults only) | Built in: top traders, or add a public address |
| Practice mode | Testnet, separate | $1,000 of practice money on live prices, 24-hour trial |
| Fees | Hyperliquid's only | Hyperliquid's plus 0.1% per side |
| Order types | Full set | Simple: amount, direction, multiplier |
If you already trade on the website and want only your own orders, the website is cheaper. If you want copy trading, a simpler screen or Telegram alerts, a bot is easier.
What should I check in any Hyperliquid Telegram bot?
The username, the wallet model, the fee line, exits, and a practice mode.
- Username. Fake bots copy names. CopyHype's main bot is @copyhypefamilybot.
- Withdrawals. Only you should be able to withdraw.
- Fees. Know the full round-trip cost on the position.
- Exits. For copying: are partial exits mirrored?
- Practice. Can you test without money?
The long version: 10 checks before you connect money.
