Short answer
In CopyHype, there are three ways in. In the United States and the 27 EU countries, tap Add money, pick an amount from $20 and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, through Link by Stripe, inside the app. The first time, a quick ID check takes under 5 minutes. Anywhere, with no card: tap Add money, pick USDT (or USDC) and send USDT or USDC from Binance or any wallet on BNB Chain, Base, Polygon or Arbitrum; it arrives as USDC in your own CopyHype wallet in minutes. The older route still works too: send USDC on Arbitrum One to your wallet address. Then one tap, Move it in, puts it in your trading balance on Hyperliquid, from $5 a trade. Hyperliquid itself takes only USDC on the Arbitrum One network.
"Can I just pay with my card?" is the first question most people ask about Hyperliquid. On Hyperliquid itself, not directly. In CopyHype, yes, in the US and the EU. Everywhere else, you do not need a card at all: USDT or USDC from Binance or any wallet works, and trades start at $5. This guide covers every route.

Can I fund Hyperliquid with a card?
Not on Hyperliquid directly. Hyperliquid only takes USDC, sent on the Arbitrum One network. CopyHype takes the card for you in the US and the EU, and takes USDT or USDC from anywhere.
Hyperliquid is an onchain exchange. It has no card processor of its own. Money arrives as USDC, a digital dollar where 1 USDC is about $1, and the standard route in is the Arbitrum One network (>Hyperliquid docs).
Outside CopyHype, funding by card is a two-step job:
- Buy USDC with your card, on an exchange or through a card on-ramp.
- Send the USDC on Arbitrum One to your Hyperliquid address, or to your app wallet.
Does CopyHype take card payments?
Yes, in the United States and the 27 EU countries. In the app, tap Add money, pick an amount from $20 and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The payment runs through Link by Stripe, without leaving the app. The first time, a quick ID check asks for your ID and takes under 5 minutes.
When you switch to Real, CopyHype creates your own non-custodial wallet: only you can withdraw, and CopyHype's trading key cannot. The USDC you pay for lands in that wallet, on Arbitrum, in a few minutes. Then one tap, Move it in, puts it in your trading balance on Hyperliquid, and CopyHype pays the network fee for that move.
In other countries, or if you prefer, skip the card: send USDT or USDC instead, as shown in the next section.
How do I fund Hyperliquid with USDT from Binance?
In CopyHype, tap Add money, pick USDT (or USDC) and send USDT or USDC from Binance or any wallet on BNB Chain, Base, Polygon or Arbitrum. It arrives as USDC in your own CopyHype wallet in minutes. No card needed.
This is the route for most countries, and for anyone who already holds USDT. You do not swap USDT for USDC first, and CopyHype pays the network fee of that deposit.
- Tap Add money in CopyHype. Then pick the 🪙 USDT tab and tap Get my deposit address.
- Pick the coin and network, then copy the deposit address. From inside the app, never from a message.
- Withdraw USDT on Binance. Pick USDT, paste the address and choose the network BNB Smart Chain (BEP20).
- Send at least $6. Binance keeps a small fee to send it, so at least $5 arrives. Check the amount that will arrive.
- Wait a few minutes. It arrives as USDC in your CopyHype wallet.
- Tap Move it in. It goes into your trading balance on Hyperliquid.

Where can I buy USDC with a card?
In the US and the EU, inside CopyHype. Elsewhere, on a big exchange, or through the card on-ramp built into many crypto wallets. Exchanges and on-ramps charge their own fees, which you see before you pay.
| Route | How it works | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| CopyHype (US, EU) | Add money, $20, $50, $100 or $250, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay | Quick ID check the first time; nothing to copy or paste: the USDC lands in your own wallet |
| Exchange (Coinbase, Kraken, Binance, Bybit, OKX...) | Buy USDC with a card or bank transfer, then withdraw it | Withdrawal network list includes Arbitrum One |
| Wallet on-ramp | Buy USDC by card inside a wallet app, delivered to your address | Delivered on Arbitrum One, not another network |
Exchanges usually need an account with identity checks. On-ramps also check identity, depending on your country, the amount and their own rules. Bought USDT instead of USDC? No need to swap it: send it through the USDT tab of Add money.
How do I send USDC on Arbitrum One to CopyHype?
The older route still works: buy USDC, choose Arbitrum One as the withdrawal network, send it to your wallet address, then tap Move it in. Send a small amount first, then the rest.
- Buy USDC. With your card on an exchange or a wallet on-ramp. Apple Pay and Google Pay work wherever the provider supports them.
- Copy your wallet address. In CopyHype, open Add money, pick the 🏦 USDC tab: your address sits under the QR code and the tags "USDC" and "Arbitrum One".
- Withdraw on Arbitrum One. On the exchange's withdrawal page, pick USDC and the Arbitrum One network. Coming from BNB Chain, Base or Polygon, or holding USDT? Use the USDT tab instead.
- Send a small test first. At least $6: the exchange keeps a small fee to send it, so at least $5 arrives, Hyperliquid's minimum. For example, 7 USDC.
- Send the rest when it lands. Then tap Move it in to put it in your trading balance. CopyHype pays that network fee.
What does each route cost?
By card in CopyHype, the payment provider's fee, if any. With USDT from Binance, Binance's withdrawal fee, and CopyHype pays the network fee of the deposit. On the exchange route, the card fee, the exchange's withdrawal fee and, sometimes, a network fee. Hyperliquid charges nothing to deposit.
| Step | Who charges | Typical |
|---|---|---|
| Paying by card in CopyHype | The card provider | Its own fee, if any |
| Sending USDT or USDC through Add money | Binance or your wallet, for the withdrawal | Its own fee; CopyHype pays the network fee of the deposit |
| Buying USDC by card elsewhere | The exchange or on-ramp | Its own fee, shown before you pay |
| Withdrawing USDC on Arbitrum One (exchange route) | The exchange | Its own withdrawal fee |
| Moving USDC into Hyperliquid on CopyHype | Nobody, CopyHype pays the network fee | $0 to you |
| Withdrawing USDC later, from $2 | Network fee | $1 flat |
Card purchases are often the most expensive way to buy USDC. If you plan to add a large amount, compare the card fee with a bank transfer to the same exchange.
What mistakes cost people money?
The wrong network, the wrong address for the coin, and sending less than the minimum. All three are easy to avoid.
- Wrong network. Your wallet address in the 🏦 USDC tab takes USDC on Arbitrum One only. USDC sent there on Ethereum, Base, Polygon or Solana can be lost. The USDT tab address takes BNB Chain, Base, Polygon or Arbitrum only.
- Wrong address for the coin. USDT is not USDC. USDT goes to the address in the USDT tab, never to your Arbitrum USDC address.
- Below the minimum. Hyperliquid does not credit deposits under 5 USDC, so send a little more from an exchange, which keeps a small fee to send it.
- Pasting an address from a chat. Copy your deposit address from inside the app, never from a message. See Telegram trading bot scams.
More traps and timings: how to deposit USDC to Hyperliquid.
How long does it take?
Usually minutes, sometimes longer for a first card purchase. In CopyHype, the USDC lands in your wallet a few minutes after you pay by card, and USDT sent from Binance arrives as USDC in minutes. On the exchange route, the card payment can take a few minutes, a first-time identity check longer, and a withdrawal on Arbitrum One usually a few minutes.
Once the USDC is in your CopyHype wallet, Move it in puts it in your trading balance in one tap.
What can I do with my first deposit?
Copy a whale at $5 to $10 a trade, or trade solo on crypto, stocks, gold and indices. Each trade can lose only its own amount.
Example: $5 at x5 on BTC is a $25 position. BTC rises 3%: +$0.75 gross, about +$0.68 after CopyHype's 0.1% and Hyperliquid's 0.045% per side. Before any of that, you can practice free: $1,000 of practice money for 24 hours, plus 24 hours for each friend you invite whose first trade opens.
Is a card or a bank transfer better?
For small amounts, a card is faster; for larger amounts, a bank transfer to an exchange is usually cheaper. In the US and the EU, the card in CopyHype is the shortest route. Elsewhere, USDT from Binance does the same job without a card. Here is how card and bank transfer compare when the goal is USDC on Arbitrum One.
| Item | Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay | Bank transfer to an exchange |
|---|---|---|
| Speed | Minutes | Hours to a day or two |
| Cost | Often the highest fee | Usually lower |
| Identity check | Often, depending on amount | Yes, at account opening |
| Best for | A first small deposit | Topping up larger amounts |
A common path: pay a first amount by card to get started quickly, then compare with a bank transfer once you know you will keep trading. Whichever route you take, the money ends up the same way: USDC in your own wallet, at least 5 USDC to move into Hyperliquid.
Can I withdraw money I added by card?
Yes, as USDC on Arbitrum, from your own wallet. You sign the withdrawal. Withdrawals start at $2, with a $1 network fee.
To turn it back into money in your bank, send the USDC to an exchange that supports USDC on Arbitrum One, sell it, and withdraw to your bank. Each step has its own fee and timing.
